For health in Africa
SolidarMed helps children, mothers and their families to receive basic health care. Give people in need a chance.
How SolidarMed works
We focus on the delivery of high-quality medical services and on reliable, friendly, patient-centred care.
What we do
SolidarMed strengthens medical facilities and trains healthcare staff. We invest in the infrastructure of health facilities and help local authorities to plan and implement health programmes.
Who we are
SolidarMed is the Swiss NGO for Health in Africa. Medically competent, locally rooted and engaged in equitable partnerships.
Where we work
SolidarMed is currently working in eight countries in southern and eastern Africa. In the most remote areas, we ensure that people have access to medical care.
What you can do
Support our health projects in rural Africa. With your support, more people can access basic medical care.
